Collection and Use of Information
Our members and guests must provide certain information when they apply to use the Services such as name, address, telephone number, and billing information (credit card number). The personal information collected from members and guests during the registration process is used to manage each User’s account (such as billing and collections) and to provide services as well as TSA requirements to pre-clear our passengers. We may additionally collect personal information from members and guests during their use of our Services. We use this information primarily to provide a customized experience. We may use registration information to contact you in a variety of ways. We may send you offers through email, phone or regular mail of our products and services or offers on behalf of selected affiliates.
Sharing your Information
We may disclose your information to third party partners who help us with our Services, such as service providers or suppliers, and with business partners. On occasion, our business partners may also offer you additional products and services that may be of interest to you. Such third parties are not authorized to use or disclose your information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. Examples of these service providers include entities that process credit card payments, fulfill orders, and provide web hosting and marketing services.
On occasion we like to take photographs and videos of our members as they enjoy our services and will post them on, but not limited to, our website, brochures, advertising materials and YouTube.
As required under California law, residence of the state of California may request a list of all third parties that our Site has disclosed any personal information (defined by California law) during the preceding year for those third parties’ marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and desire such a list, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
For a request of your “California Privacy Rights” list, in the body of your request, please include your full name as it is listed in the membership, address, city, state and zip code and member number. This information will help us determine if this applies to you. NOTE: we will not accept any request by telephone or facsimile and we are not responsible for notices that are incomplete or lack information.
We may periodically conduct both business and individual surveys. We encourage members to participate in these voluntary surveys because they provide us with important information that helps us to improve the types of services we offer and how we provide them to you. Your personal information and responses will remain confidential. We take the information we receive from individuals responding to our surveys and combine (or aggregate) it with the responses of other members to create broader, generic responses to the survey questions (such as gender, age, residence, hobbies, education, employment, industry sector, or other demographic information). We then use the aggregated information to improve the quality of our services to you, and to develop new services and products.
Gulfstar Airways Commitment to Data Security
Gulfstar Airways has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. While we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining this information. We will never sell your information to a third party.
We may collect additional information about your interactions with our Sites, such as usage, viewing, and technical data including your browser information or IP address through various technologies.
- Log Data: When you visit our Sites, whether as a member, a guest or as a visitor just browsing, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website, called “log data.” This log data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type or the website from which you are visiting, pages of our Site that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for, access times and dates, and other statistics.
- Web Analytics: We may use third party web analytics services such as Google Analytics on this Site or on social media platforms. The service providers that administer these services use technologies such as cookies, web server logs and web beacons to help us analyze how visitors use the Site. The information collected through these means (including IP address) is disclosed to these service providers, who use the information to evaluate use of the Site. We may also generate aggregate, non-identifying profiles from information provided during registration (such as the total number, but not the names, of members), as well as through online surveys and promotions with select advertisers. We may use this aggregated and non-identifying information to sell advertisements that appear on our Sites and Services.
- Other Technology: Gulf Star Aviation engages third parties to track and analyze individual usage and volume statistical information from individuals who visit our Sites by recording click-stream behavior, including what information is displayed on the screen to the visitor, which pages visitors go to most often and whether visitors receive error messages from certain pages. This information is used to enhance the functionality and features of our Sites, and for troubleshooting purposes.
